The Beat, Mothers in Action and The Setinental host their first Taste of Soul on Crenshaw, Saturday, October 21, 2006.

The festival was wonderful.  There are plenty of vendors, most ran by Black African-American. This showed me, we are ready for our Little African or Little African-Americans shopping area.  There are too many of US that want our own business and very interested in being part of our community.

The number of people who walked through the area which I was vending was heartfilled.  I did very good with my sales.  The food and entertainment was/is something to talk about.

I am happy I was a part of this event and look forward to more events like Taste of Soul.  We can do this every every day, week or month.  We are here and people want to support Black businesses.  I know there is someone out there who is reading posts on this site who wants to initiate this.  I cant wait to see when this all comes to light.
